Spotted Brn

Spotted Brn
I am a little over 5 wks pregnant. I have a little brn spotting and a few aches. Is this normal?

In some cases it is, in otehrs it isn't. Having a few aches and pains early in pregnancy is normal. Your body is just getting used to everything and preparing itself for the following months of the pregnancy. If the pains become more like menstrual cramps, esp if the spotting continues with them, it could be a possible sign of miscarriage and you should get to your Dr asap.
If you've had a pap smear, it's not uncommon to have some spotting afterwards. If not, I would go to your OB and have things checked out just to be on the safe side.
Often when you have pains along with spotting early in pregnancy, you're urged to get it checked out as soon as possible, bc your risk of miscarriage is much higher until you reach 13 weeks.
