Why is there a ban on Trapper Keepers?
I grew up in the 80's and took a Trapper Keeper to school but now my niece says her school (and many others) have banned them. She says she thinks it is because they are too large to fit in desks! But there must be another explanation. I mean her teacher wrote in BIG letters, underlined 3 times 'NO TRAPPER KEEPERS!" So Im thinking there must be another reason.. Any ideas?
Perhaps the kids were also getting their fingers or hands caught in the rings upon trying to close them.
